The first run is slower: the OCR model (about 70 MB, used only for scanned PDFs and photos) downloads to your browser. From the second time it loads from your device and starts much faster.

Standard files (camt.053, MT940, OFX) are read field by field. For CSV, Excel, PDF and photos the columns are found by their header (date, description, debit / credit or amount, balance — English, Vietnamese, German, French, Spanish, Italian). Balances are checked exactly: opening + transactions = closing, and the running balance on every row.
